1355, GP: “I’m sending you to hospital for a chest x-ray and blood tests.”

1440, radiographer: “Never mind the blood tests, you should go to the emergency department now.”

1825, ED doctor: “You have double pneumonia. We’re going to keep you here overnight.”

Well that escalated quickly.

“Dad you said there was going to be a funny part! You lied to me!”

I guess the 5yo is not yet old enough to appreciate the Muppet Show.

@marioguzman@mastodon.social @mwichary@mastodon.online If you need to custom-replicate it anyway, you could dial up the duration and/or distance, or dial down the damping. Like you’re sitting on a seesaw and someone just jumped on the other end.

More appropriate because this animation is already used for a very similar situation: if you use the Open File dialog to open a document that’s already open. Try it in TextEdit, Pages, Numbers, Acorn, Bike, OmniGraffle, etc.
